Store Details

Growing from a home-based online retailer, we’ve become the first black-owned, veteran-owned and author-owned bookstore to grace the Las Vegas Strip. We re-opened in this location June 2026. We operate in a 1,200 sq. ft. space (approx. 1,000 sq. ft. showroom) and currently manage over 1,100 titles and merchandise items.

Community Details

Our shopping center, Fashion Show Las Vegas, has an emphasis on building strong business relationships with business owners, which in turn has generated continual support from both locals and tourists. We’re conveniently located across from the Wynn Resort & Casino, The Venetian Resort, and Treasure Island Resort.

Ideal Events

Since we’re a smaller space and operate seven days a week, ideal events are book signings and small book readings only. Our space can fit approx. 100 people comfortably. We can also set up wait lines and have security present. With all other types of events, i.e. author talks, we may try to co-host with another bookstore at a different location.

Sales Reporting

We currently report sales to NY Times on a weekly basis.

Partnerships

We currently don’t have official partnerships, however we link with a few other local booksellers and organizations. We’re also members of American Booksellers Association.

We currently have active accounts with Instagram (rdtalleybooks_lasvegas) and TikTok (@rdtalleybooks). We post every 2-7 days and tend to have solid engagement from our followers. On Instagram, we have approx. 2,600 followers. TikTok, we have approx. 1,400 followers.

We’ve been privileged to be interviewed by three local news outlets thus far: Fox 5 News, CBS 8 Morning News, and the Power 88.1 Radio Station. We’re able to contact all of them for possible coverage of any events we host.
